Voice presenter Eoghan McDermott has told RTE they should up Jamelia’s salary to keep her on board.
As Goss.ie previously revealed, the UK singer quit the show after a dispute over her pay.
The Loose Women star was also sick of the constant travelling between Ireland and Birmingham.
But Eoghan insisted that RTE bosses would be making a huge mistake to actually let her go.

He said:Â “I don’t know much about it, but Jamelia is a diva. If it is because she’s looking for more money she deserves it.
“I wouldn’t know if the budget is there, but I think she’s box office and if she’s looking for a few more quid she’s worth every cent.”
The Voice of Ireland is set to begin filming the new season in coming months – and has already confirmed Dolores O’Riordan is gone.
But Eoghan told the Mirror he’d like to see Sinead O’Connor sort her schedule out to be a part of the show.
He added: “What I would love to see is for her to get involved. Obviously she’s had her ups and downs, but she seems to be in a great place at the moment. Her new album is amazing.”
