Daffodil Day brightened up the country as a massive amount of volunteers around the country lined the streets sporting yellow to fundraise for the Irish Cancer Society.
The annual event asks people to buy daffodil pins or the the actual flowers from volunteers on the street to support the worthy charity, host a coffee morning or alternatively to text CANCER to 50300 donated €4 to the cause.
Celebs were quick to support the brilliant work of the charity too.
Norah Casey, who we’ve most recently seen on Dancing With The Stars, and Bobby Kerr a cancer survivor himself took part in a beautiful photo-call for the charity.
Paddington and Downton Abbey’s Hugh Bonneville made sure to pop on a Daffodil Day pin for his appearance on The Late Late Show.

Give as generously as you can this #daffodilday. Lots of the services the @IrishCancerSoc provide are essential to families experiencing cancer, and without your donations they don’t exist. ❤
