Bets already on that Ed Sheeran's Croke Park gig will be CANCELLED

People are already betting that Ed Sheeran’s upcoming July Croke Park gig  will be cancelled – following in the footsteps of Garth Brooks.

The Thinking Out Loud singer spoke to Ryan Tubridy on 2fm this morning and confirmed he will play the famous stadium this Summer.

Luckily for fans, the odds aren’t too good, with bookies placing bets of 10/1 that the Lego House star will end up cancelling the highly anticipated performance.

“Following last year’s Garth Brooks debacle there may be a few nervous Ed fans out there,” Paddy Power said.

“But fortunately the odds would suggest that Colm Cooper won’t be the only ginger who’ll be rocking Croke Park this summer.”

Meanwhile, Paddy Power have odds of 2/1 for the singer to sport a GAA jersey on stage while it’s 3/1 for him to steal a line from Brian Cullen’s all Ireland speech and roar “see you in coppers” to his legions of fans.

Ed has revealed it is an “honour” for him to be playing the famous stadium.
