TV3 presenter Elaine Crowley has revealed she feels “healthy and happy” for the first time since speaking out about her depression.
Last year the 36-year-old had said “if a bus ran me over it wouldn’t make any difference.”
But now Elaine has said she has turned over a new leaf.
“On paper I work in TV3, I have a fabulous job, I have my own show – but I was miserable.”

“I think I have turned that corner. When you are feeling low everything gets on top of you,” she told the Sunday Mirror.
“When you feel unhappy in general you aren ‘t going out and eating more and one leads into the other really.”
“I am happy and healthy and it is the first time in a long time that I can say that,” she said.
