TV3 are taking on the Late Late Toy Show this year – with their own live Toy Show.
The independent station will air a 90-minute show – to be presented by a mystery celebrity – a week before the RTE special.
The TV3 Christmas Toy Show will go out on Friday November 21 at “the more child friendly time” 8pm.
It will be hosted live from the RDS, and kids between five and 12 can take part, just like on RTE.

There will also be an opportunity for viewers to apply to be part of the live audience.

“Live from the RDS over 90 minutes, the TV3 Christmas Toy Show will feature top toy reviews, exclusive performances and nostalgic blasts from the past as well as fun, festive features and celebrity guests.

Last year, TV3 put on their hour long version of the show directly before the Toy Show, which was hosted by Alan Hughes.
Already 400,000 people have applied for tickets to the Late Late Toy Show.
