Kelvin Fletcher has been confirmed to replace Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing on Strictly Come Dancing.
It was previously rumoured the Emmerdale star would replace Jamie, and those rumours have been confirmed.
Speaking about joining the show, he said: “Is this really happening?!”
“It’s been the most surreal week of my life!”
“I’m a massive fan of Strictly so it’s incredible.”
“I’m so happy that I can be a part of it. But at the same time it’s quite bittersweet!”
Jamie has long his place on the show after suffering a severe injury during the very first performance.
He reportedly landed awkwardly during the group dance on the opening episode of the show last week, hurting his foot.
He was unable to continue the show due to the severity of the fall, which resulted in the reality star needing to wear a protective boot and use crutches.
