Mario Rosenstock has hit out at Oliver Callan’s ratings drop, telling him viewers have noticed he’s a “tribute act”.
And Mario said the only way his former colleague – who he hasn’t spoken to since 2006 – can do better is to stop copying him.
“It might help if Oliver Callan stopped constantly trying to copy me,” the 42-year-old said.

“I don’t want to stick in the boot if his figures are bad, but audiences are the best judges of what’s good.”
RTE initially claimed that Oliver did badly because people were out enjoying the “fine weather”.
But Mario said he feels that is just a poor attempt to justify the viewing figures.
“The test card would get an audience at 9.30pm on a Friday,” he told the Irish Sun.

“I’m also not sure you can blame the weather. We had great weather last October, when we did our TV show and we got great numbers.”
Their friendship broke down when Oliver stormed out of Today FM where he was a regular voice on Gift Grub.
