Paparazzi were pelted with rotten eggs by the Love/Hate crew as they tried to snap them filming.
The RTE show had been filming on a halting site in Dublin – when they discovered that photographers were trying to take pictures.
So the family of John Connors – the settled Traveller who plays pipe bomber Patrick – grabbed eggs and started throwing them at them.

He told Goss.ie: “I f**king hate the paparazzi. We shot some scenes on the travelling site where I live.
“A few of my family were cast in the show. When they saw the paps they ran after them, threw some eggs and swore blind.”
And the 24-year-old even recruited some of his cousins to play extras on the show.
“If there was a line in the script up for grabs they’d all come running, or I’d audition them for fake parts – it was great fun,” he said John.
Last year John starred in Mark O’Connor’s film, King of the Travellers with Peter Coonan.
