RTE sign a deal to sell the show to European Netflix – and will see Nidge become French and German

Love/Hate is now going to be available across Europe – after bosses signed a deal with Netflix.

All five seasons of the RTE show will now be streamed on Netflix in France, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

It will see the series being dubbed into French and German, a first for the series.

It means the show has now been sold to a massive 30 countries – including the UK, Norway, Australia, South Korea and Brazil.

Love/Hate is also already available to watch on Hulu, Netflix and Amazon in America.

RTE’s Head of TV Drama Jane Gogan said: “This is fantastic news for RTE and Octagon Films. Our ambition has always been to make good drama for Irish audiences that can work internationally as well.

“After the excellent engagement with the most recent series of Love/Hate it’s good to see international audiences looking for the show as well.”

It comes as RTE confirmed that there will be no new season of Love/Hate in 2015, but will be back a year later.
