Tonight, Love Island viewers were treated to an insight into Chris and Harley’s first official date.
The pair have been hitting it off since coupling up at the last recoupling.
However, viewers of the reality TV show are not convinced that the pair have a genuine connection.

Fans who have been glued to the series are not convinced that the couple actually like each other.
Strewn among the Love Island Twitter hashtag are criticisms of their relationship, as the couple begin to get to know one another in the villa.
Following their date on tonight’s episode, many criticized Harley’s request to Chris that he stop making as many jokes.
Others also felt that Chris’ actions during the Sidebar of shame challenge indicated that he doesn’t like her, but only coupled up with her after failing to hit things off with India.
Many fans feel that the pair are only appearing to hit things off as the competition is coming to a close, and their dramatic discussion at the end of the episode did not deter critics:
Harley just doesn’t understand Chris’ humour and it’s painful to watch #LoveIsland

It’s all over Harley’s face that she doesn’t really like Chris. Feel so sorry for him, asking so many questions to get to know her n she ain’t bothered 🙁 #loveisland

Francesca was right Harley doesn’t get Chris’s banter. I think Francesca and Chris were better suited and because they walked in together focused on finding someone who was already in there and just friend zoned each other too soon #LoveIsland
