Love Island star Olivia Attwood lands huge role on new dating show

Love Island star Olivia Attwood has landed a huge role as the host of ITV’s newest dating show.

The reality star shot to fame after appearing on the hit dating show back in 2017, landing major roles on TV since – such as spot on the Loose Women panel.

The 33-year-old took to Instagram to share the exciting news of her latest TV venture.

She wrote: “Guys…….. i have been keeping a secret. BTS from my brand new @itv reality show… you’re not ready🤯 (I don’t actually think I am)”

The DailyMail reported that Olivia is paid a six-figure sum to host the show after landing the role as the host.

A source revealed to the publication: “Olivia is over the moon, she could have never predicted after starring on Love Island as a contestant to one day be presenting her own dating series.”

“She is working with a full ensemble cast and filming has already started in Greece, she is loving every second of it so far.”

“It’s a dream come true for her, and she can’t wait for viewers to fall in love with the format and hopefully enjoy watching the show as much as she has shooting it.”

Earlier this year, The Sun revealed Olivia was holding talks with TV bosses in America.

“I’ve had conversations with people who have formats ready to go in the US,” she explained to the publication.

“Again, it’s a timing thing. I’ve had to literally be like, ‘okay, I can’t come to the US and do this job tomorrow, but please let you get me, because at some point I would love to explore that’.”

“Having said that, I’m not rushing to do that because I’m very happy with the way things are going here. I feel very grateful,” she continued.

I” couldn’t ask for more. I feel like I’m happy to do what I’m doing, keep proving myself, you know, hopefully get more of that live broadcasting experience under my belt, and then I think things, when they’re meant to happen, they’ll happen, if that makes sense.”

“I love the UK, and I love my audience here, you know, I’m very loyal to them, so yeah, it’s been hard to kind of not be tempted to run across and play but I’m staying focused on what I’ve got in front of me, for the time being,” she added.
