Game of Thrones have poked fun at THAT coffee cup mishap.
On Sunday night’s episode, fans spotted a Starbucks coffee cup in one of the scenes – which was definitely not supposed to be there.
Of course, the coffee cup quickly went viral, and now HBO have responded in a hilarious fashion.
Fessing up to the mishap, they tweeted:Â “News from Winterfell. The latte that appeared in the episode was a mistake. Daenerys had ordered an [sic] herbal tea.”

Meanwhile, when contacted by Variety, the show’s art director Hauke Richter said: “Things can get forgotten on set.”
“[The coffee cup error has been] so blown out of proportion [because] it has not happened with Thrones so far.”
