A Game of Thrones documentary is set to be aired after the eighth and final season of the show.
The highly-anticipated upcoming season is going to air from 15th April to 19th May, and the documentary will be released shortly after the final episode.
HBO announced the news on Twitter, as the television network said: “@GameOfThrones: The Last Watch, a two-hour feature documentary chronicling the making of the final season, debuts Sunday, May 26 on @HBO”.

Filmaker, Jeanie Finlay directed the documentary over the span of one year and followed the cast and crew throughout production.
In a statement by HBO, they said the doc will give fans “an up-close and personal report from the trenches of production, following the crew and the cast as they contend with extreme weather, punishing deadlines and an ever-excited fandom hungry for spoilers.”
