X Factor star Chris Leonard’s brother is hoping he survives long enough to see him after returning from a peace keeping mission with the Army.
The Meath native’s band Stereo Kicks narrowly avoided getting the boot on last night’s show.
But his big brother Stephen is hoping they will last three more weeks – enough time for him to return from the Middle East where he working on peace keeping duties.
Brave Stephen has been away working in Lebanon and has not yet got to see his little brother preform on the show with his band mates.

Last night, Stephen tweeted his talented younger brother last night, telling him: “3 weeks and I’m home!! Hopefully ur still there and I get to come see ya perform.”
Despite ending up in the bottom two on last night’s show, Chris and his bandmates were praised for their performance of the Backstreet Boys’ hit Everybody.
Speaking after the sing off against Lola Saunders, Chris revealed they had “so much fun” performing the hit.
