LauraLynn, Ireland’s Children’s Hospice, hosted their successful third annual ‘Heroes Ball’ in the Intercontinental Hotel in Ballsbridge.
Almost 400 supporters attended the gala, including the Heroes Ball corporate sponsors DCC Plc and Marks & Spencer. Celebrating all the little heroes who benefit from the support of LauraLynn, the gala evening raised much needed funds for the specialist hospice care LauraLynn provides to children with life-limiting conditions and their families. With a focus on enhancing the quality of life, LauraLynn provides support from diagnosis, to end of life, and throughout bereavement with a range of practical, emotional and medical care for the whole family.
The night was filled with glamour as the who’s-who in Irish society came together in support of these little heroes. Guests gave generously over the course of the evening as they enjoyed an evening of entertainment with host and MC Miriam O’ Callaghan, with music provided by Perfect Day and the Diva Singing Waiters.
The event raised vital funds for the charity through ticket sales, an auction (presided over by Barry Murphy), an exciting ‘balloon pop’ and donations from guests on the night.
The ball was attended by a host of stars including Norah Casey, Dillon St. Paul, Muireann O’ Connell and Debbie O’ Donnell.
