Meghan Markle shares anti-bullying message after speaking out against media scrutiny

Meghan Markle has shared a message with anti-bullying sentiment.

The statement comes following her comments in a documentary about living under the scrutiny of the royal spotlight.

Taking to Instagram, the Duchess of Sussex encouraged the royal account followers to lend a “smile” or a listening ear to those going through hard times.

Sharing a quote by Leo Buscaglia, she shared an inspirational quote which read:

“Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around,” it reads.

The Duchess shared the quote to celebrate “Giving Tuesday.”

“An inspiring quote for Giving Tuesday, a day that encourages people to do good,” she wrote in the caption.

“GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement unleashing the power of people and organisations to transform their communities and the world on December 3, 2019 and every day.”

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared their thoughts on royal life and their plight with tabloid press in an honest and open documentary segment back in October.

Their experiences were shared during a documentary which focused on their royal tour of the African continent.

The couple discussed dealing with public and media scrutiny, rifts among the royal family and becoming parents for the first time.

Fans of the royal family are convinced that Meghan creates the content on her and Prince Harry’s account, after fans noticed that in a recent post the Christmas period was referred to as “the holidays” – an American turn of phrase.
