Sharon Corr: I'm NOT a good girl – I'm madly into sex and 'downright into lust'

Sharon Corr has admitted she’s madly into sex – and hates everyone thinking she’s so nicey-nice.

The former Voice of Ireland judge feels she is “pigeon-holed” as being smut-free after her time in The Corrs with her sisters Andrea and Caroline.

But the 44-year-old insisted she is “downright into lust” despite what the public thinks.

“As a woman, I feel that sometimes we just get so pigeon-holed into this area — especially me, actually, and my sisters, I think — of being so bloody nice,” she said.

“People have way too many emotions just to be nice. Nice is fine, but the point is, on a very basic sort of sexual level, women get very pigeon-holed.

“Like — we just want hugs and kisses! Whereas, actually, I think we’re downright into lust. Of course, we’re as into it.”

And Sharon – who is married to Gavin Bonnar – feels that women can be lead to cheat just as easy as a man can.

The Breathless star added that when sex is “being served up on a plate” by someone who isn’t your partner “what you do and what choice you make defines you”.

She said: “Of course, we can make those mistakes just as easily as a guy.”

She added to the Sunday Independent: “It’s like — ‘Man is unfaithful but there is no woman involved’. How does that happen? Because, clearly, the vast majority of the time he’s clearly doing it with somebody.”

And Sharon feels it is “a lie” for people to pretend they don’t have those urges.

She said: “I think it is a lie to pretend that we don’t. We don’t all go through life every day and not, at least once a year, see somebody else that makes you go: ‘God, that person is really goddamn attractive!’”
