Netflix fans are saying the same thing about Liam Neeson’s new movie based in Ireland

Netflix fans are saying the same thing about Liam Neeson’s new movie, which recently landed on the streaming service.

In the Land of Saints and Sinners, directed by Robert Lorenz, is set in 1970s Ireland and also stars Oscar nominee Kerry Condon, Ciarán Hinds, and Colm Meaney.

The 71-year-old plays a newly retired assassin in the film, who finds himself drawn into a lethal game of cat and mouse with a menacing gang of terrorists.

Eager to leave his dark past behind, the film follows Finbar Murphy (Liam Neeson) as he leads a quiet life in the remote coastal town of Glencolmcille, far from the political violence that grips the rest of the country.

But when a menacing crew of terrorists arrive, led by a ruthless woman named Doirean (Kerry Condon), Finbar is drawn into an increasingly vicious game of cat and mouse, forcing him to choose between exposing his secret identity or defending his friends and neighbours.

Since the movie landed on Netflix, it has been hailed the actor’s “best film since Taken” on social media.
