Jack Reynor has been cast opposite Oscar winners Christian Bale and Catre Blanchett in The Jungle Book.
The new adaptation is being filmed in 3D and will be a combination of live action and performance capture.
The story follows the adventures of Mowgli, a human child brought up by a wolf pack in the Indian jungle.
Jack is slated to play the role of Mowgli’s brother Wolf, one of the central animal characters in the flick.

The film is being produced by Steve Kloves, who wrote seven of the blockbuster Harry Potter films, and Jonathan Cavendishwho produced Elizabeth: The Golden Age and Bridget Jones: The Edge Of Reason.
The Transformers actor is also starring in Grassland, the Irish feature film due for release in cinemas April 17.
The Jungle Book is slated for release beginning October 17.
