Selena Gomez CONFIRMS season two of 13 Reasons Why

Selena Gomez has confirmed that 13 Reasons Why will come back for a second season.

The first season of the series, based on the young adult novel of the same name, revolves around the suicide of a high school girl, Hannah, who is played by Katherine Langford.

The series also stars Dylan Minnette, Christian Navarro, Alisha Boe, Brandon Flynn, Justin Prentice, Miles Heizer, Brian d’Arcy James, and Kate Walsh.

Taking to Instagram, executive producer Selena teased series two with a promo clip, writing, “Their story isn’t over. Season 2 of #13ReasonsWhy is coming.”

According to Variety, Season 2 will pick up right where they left off in the aftermath of Hannah’s death.

The second season will again consist of 13 episodes, and is set to debut on Netflix in 2018.

The series caused controversy worldwide over its graphic depictions of suicide and sexual violence, and it became the most tweeted about show of 2017.

Season 2 will be produced for Netflix by Paramount Television, and will once again be executive produced by Selena Gomez, Mandy Teefey, Kristel Laiblin, Joy Gorman Wettels, Michael Sugar and Steve Golin.
