Ben Foden has hit back at his haters – a week after getting married in a surprise ceremony.
The rugby player, who split from ex-wife Una Healy last year, married Jackie Belanoff Smith on a yacht just outside New York last weekend.
The British star announced the news on Instagram during the week, where he told followers that ex Una had given her “blessing” for the nuptials.
However, fans weren’t too impressed by his big gushing announcement, where he said Jackie was “the greatest human being I have ever come across”.
Taking to Instagram stories Ben told his haters he was “glad you can vent on me (I can handle it) and hope you find peace and happiness”.
The rugby player also thanked those who sent messages, writing: “Never knew I was so popular or well unpopular…thank you for all the nice messages and comments.
“As for the others…I’m glad you can vent on me,” he wrote.
Ben and Una’s marriage came to a dramatic end last year when it was revealed he had cheated on the mother of his two children with a PR girl.
Since the news of his new marriage broke Ben has faced claims by multiple women that he was “sexting” them on the lead up to his wedding.
