PICS: Famous faces step out for Billy Elliot the Musical

Plenty of famous faces stepped out for Billy Elliot the Musical last night in the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.

Guests included comedian Al Porter, funnywomen Deirdre O’Kane and Jennifer Zamparelli, singer Bonnie Ryan, Xposé’s Ruth O’Neill and Cassie Stokes, Alan Hughes and Karl Broderick, as well as model-mum Yvonne Connolly.

Described by Time Magazine as “The Best Musical of the Decade”, based on the much loved motion picture, Billy Elliot the Musical opened in the West End in 1995 and has now been seen by over 11 million people worldwide.

Jennifer Zamparelli enjoyed the musical as herself and her fellow Breakfast Republic hosts Bernard O’Shea and Keith Walsh are taking a two week break from 2fm.

Speaking of 2fm, veteran broadcaster Colm Hayes and his wife Anne also dropped by the red carpet at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, after announcing his departure from the station after 10 years.
