Irish actress Ruth Negga’s new show, Preacher, has been green-lit for a full series on US network AMC.
Pineapple Express actor Seth Rogen, who produces the show, took to twitter to announce the news.
“Preacher is coming to AMC… The beginning is nigh!” he wrote online.

The Dubliner stars in the show alongside her rumoured boyfriend, Mamma Mia actor Dominic Cooper.
Based on the cult comic of Garth Ennis, Preacher follows Jesse Custer, a Texan preacher who becomes possessed by a supernatural creature.
The 10 episode series will premiere on the American network in the middle 2016.
