Louis Walsh’s live TV show was forced to be cancelled by TV3 due to there not being “enough time to organise everything”.

The music mogul was set to host two programmes called Louis’ Big Party Live this weekend which were due to air before and after the X Factor Final.

The live studio show was set to rake in huge viewership for TV3, however the plug has now been pulled on the show.

According to a TV3 source, there “wasn’t enough time to organise everything”.

“Louis was totally up for it and looking forward to doing it.

“But the kind of show we wanted to do would have involved a lot of work and a lot of planning and there just wasn’t enough time.

Back again: Louis will appear on the X Factor final

“It’s definitely something that we’ll look at doing again in the future as we’d love to work with Louis,” the source told the Herald.

Despite the cancellation, we will still see Louis on our screens this weekend as he will make an appearance on the X Factor final as he has recorded a sketch for the show.
