Louis Walsh has finally confirmed that he is gone from the X Factor and Nick Grimshaw is taking his place.
The music mogul admitted that the 30-year-old BBC Radio 1 DJ will be the new judge on the singing contest.
“He’s got my job. I’ve flat out left. I’m not going back to the show, absolutely gone. I’m pleased as I get to do my actual job now,” he said.Â

But the Mayo man revealed that the role isn’t a walk in the park and the radio presenter will have to work hard.
“I don’t think he realises the hard work he has to put in though. It’s going to be hard work for him,” he admitted.
Nick, better known as Grimmy has a tough road ahead of him if he gets the role.
