Downton Abbey star Michelle Dockery has been left devastated by the passing of her Irish fiancé.
The SAG winner reportedly flew back from a promotional tour in the States to be with her long-term love, John Dineen as he lost his battle to a rare form of cancer, according to the Mirror.
The ITV actress stayed by the 34-year-old in his final moments before he died at Cork’s Marymount hospice on Sunday.

The financial PR executive, originally from Waterfall, Co.Cork, allegedly moved back to Ireland this summer to be treated at Marymount University Hospital before travelling to Germany for further treatment.
The pair started dating in 2013 after being introduced by Michelle’s Downton Abbey co-star Allen Leech and reportedly got engaged earlier this year – although they remained tight-lipped.
In a statement released through the British actress’ publicist, she thanked the public for the “support and kindness” the family have received – adding that they “kindly request that they are left to grieve in private”.
John’s family and friends are to said be laying him to rest today in Cork.
