Becky Hill brings out Kabin Crew kids to sing viral song The Spark

Becky Hill brought out the kids from Kabin Crew to sing their song The Spark at her during her concert in Cork.

The Cork and Clare rappers went viral and gained the attention of many global superstars.

The song was recorded by children in the Kabin Crew in North Cork and the Lisdoonvarna Crew in Clare.

The kids joined the singer on stage to perform their hit song, which was released as a single this week.

Becky introduced the group, saying: “they are with me tonight. Please make some noise.”

They ran on stage in front of 15 thousand people as the Crazy What Love Can Do singer asked: “Is it right that you guys have a song to sing.”

“Do you guys know The Spark,” she asked the crowd as Kabin Crew began perfomring.

The original video has received millions of views online as part of Cruinniú na nÓg, Europe’s only national free day of creativity for young people.

The Creative Ireland initiative was supported by RTÉ and launched on RTÉ’s young people’s news programme News2Day last Friday.

This year’s programme includes events for children and young people across Ireland.

There will also be events for older teenagers, supported by the Night Time Economy Unit.

Popstar Tove Lo who sings the hit song Habits has shared a TikTok video lipsyncing to the catchy tune.

Tove Lo wrote: “No way some Irish kids made the song of the summer.”

The video has received over 940k views on TikTok and over 80k likes

TikToker Spencewuah who has over 16 million followers on the app also shared a video about the song.

Spencewuah wrote: “There’s no way a song made by a whole bunch of Irish kids is ACTUALLY good.”

Irish influencer Protein Bor Papi also shared a video of the song and said: “Lad there’s no way a DnB song made by kids in Cork can sound good.”

Speaking to RedFM news shortly before their live performance on Breakfast with KC, the Kabin Crew kids told them about their viral hit.

“It’s really good and it’s a really good music video as well.”
