WATCH: Ronan O’Gara says he still can’t get over Anthony Foley’s death

Ronan O’Gara has admitted he is still in shock over the death of Munster Head Coach Anthony Foley.

The Clare man died last week in Paris, and people all over the country have been sharing special tributes.

From other rugby teams, to sports players all over the world – Ronan thanked everyone who has made this tough time easier to deal with.

“It still is very tough…I think we’re all really shook by it. It’s just something very difficult to get our heads around,” he told BT Sport.

“Obviously we all come from somewhere and I’m extremely proud that I come from Munster and I come from Ireland, because what I saw in the last week fills me with massive pride.

“It’s a special place over there, Thomond was incredible and the world of rugby too and the world of sport has been really comforting.

“It’s a wonderful game we play and I think some of us when we’re in the bubble maybe we’re overcome with results – but to see the rugby family and what they’ve done in the last week has been really, really special.

“It was so sad the last week, with the team mates we have…we’ve never lost so much,” he added.
