Louis Walsh vows: 'I will NEVER retire'

Louis Walsh has admitted he has absolutely no plans to retire – after decades spend in the music biz.

The business mogul has estimated earnings of 30 million, however he shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.

The Mayo native is currently nurturing his third boyband – Hometown – and revealed he loves his job far too much to think about quitting.

“I’ll never retire, I love working. I love what I do,” he said.

“I love working in the music business. I consider myself to be very lucky because it’s not work to me,” he told the Star.

The X Factor judge also revealed that it’s harder than ever to turn a new band into a success – but he loves the challenge of making Hometown into stars.

“It’s harder than it ever was to break a band now so Hometown is going to be a challenge but that’s what I love.”

“It’s not in my nature to sit back and do nothing and what I really love to do is be a pop manager – that’s when I’m in my element.”

Despite two hugely successful bans behind him, Louis insisted he can recreate the success one more time.

“After Boyzone, they said it wouldn’t happen again and Westlife went on to become bigger and better,” he said.

“There’s no reason why Hometown can’t do the same.”

Hometown will appear on The Late Late Show tonight to promote their second single – Cry For Help.
