Laura Jayne Halton named Best Dressed Lady at RDS Horse Show – in her OWN design

Kildare native Laura Jayne Halton was crowned the Best Dressed Lady at this year’s RDS Horse Show.

Judged by model and blogger Pippa O’Connor, the designer won the competition wearing her very own design.

Laura Jayne wore a a cape, dress and head piece that she made herself and was declared the winner in front of a huge crowd of fashionistas and ladies day hopefuls.

The lucky winner was presented with a voucher worth €10,000 for Dundrum Town Centre. Laura Jayne’s monochrome dress impressed the two judges Pippa and fashion editor Bairbre Power.

Meanwhile Sarah Cass from Kilkenny won the Most elegant lady. She wore a hat by Jennifer Wrynne, a jacket from Ted Baker and a matching dress.

The Best dressed man was Cormac Bates from Wexford. He wore a suit from Industry.

The Most colourful outfit went to Linda Malone from Meath, she wore a dress from Vanilla Boutique, in Fermoy, her hat was a custom made piece from Miss G Designs based in LA. Katy Perry’s milliner.

The Great Lengths Most Creative Hat went to Linda Morrison from Kildare. Her hat was by Carol Kinnelly, and she wore a 1940s style wedding dress from Hayworth in Dublin.
