George Hook has revealed that the main thing on his mind – is sex.
The Newstalk host recently penned a steamy novel, and now has admitted sex is one of the main things he thinks about.
“I only think about sex, I don’t think about drink or gambling or smoking, I just think about sex,” he told Goss.ie.
“(My book is) not a sex book because I don’t think sex is dirty so I think I’m in a well place to write about sex seeing as I thought about nothing else for 70 years,” he added.

Opening up about his erotic novel, which he wants to turn into a movie, George hit out at the writing of EL James’ Fifty Shades of Grey.
“Everybody is talking about it assuming it’s going to be 200 pages of sex like that’s what EL James does, she writes crap and just has shagging on every single page,” he said.
The 73-year-old rugby pundit said his novel contains more information about working life but sex does play a huge part.
“This is a trilogy, three books about a radio station, an old presenter is dying and he looks back on his life and there’s sex and intrigue and there’s corporate policy and there’s owners and there’s takeover bids so sex plays a part.”

The rugby commentator explained that if his novel was made into a film that he wants full involvement in the making of it.
“I think we’re talking nonsense and it’s not going to be happening but let’s assume it did, an awful lot of writers are appalled of the movie that is made of their book because they don’t write the movie somebody else does so.
“Hypothetically if someone was to come to me today and wanted to make a movie of my book I must say I wouldn’t take just the money I would want some kind of artistic involvement,” he added.
