“It’s going well, It’s been delayed a bit but Rooney Mara  is interested so that makes it a little bit easier, we’re just trying to find the male star to go with her,” he said.

Dracula star Jonathan is rumored to play the male lead but Sheridan insists that the role is yet to be filled.

“I’ve lots of different people in mind, I love Cillian Murphy. Actors I like who I haven’t approached like Richard Dormer, he’s a great actor,” he told Goss.ie.

“I like Ewan Mcgregor too but I don’t even know if he’s available. I have to finish the script, get Rooney contracted and hopefully we can start filming at the end of September.”

While movie-making is still his first love Jim said working in TV is easier.

“The truth is its easier to get money for TV, I don’t think that’s good, It bemuses me that in 2007/2008 everybody decided that they weren’t making any more drama Movies.

“I think that was a conscious decision that they made in Hollywood and it’s all down to money.”
