Vogue Williams and Spencer Matthews have shared sweet tributes to each other on their wedding anniversary.
The couple got married in 2018 and now share three children together – son Theodore, 5, daughter Gigi, 3, and son Otto, 2.
The family are currently spending their 6th anniversary on holiday in Zanzibar after a week in Kenya.
Taking to Instagram, Vogue posted a sweet post for her husband – sharing a snap of them from their getaway.
She wrote: “Happy 6th wedding anniversary @spencermatthews. If I didn’t know you I’d want to know you… you’re gorgeous, kind and sort of funny 🤣”
“Well done on everything you are achieving. Run Spenno Ruuuuuuun. Love always ❤️”
Similarly, Spencer attempted to share his own tribute to his wife with a video on his story – which was ruined by Vogue appearing to make a joke about him.
He said: “Today is a very special day, it marks six years of marriage to the love of my life and there’s no real reason for this story other than just to share how lucky I am to have such an amazing wife.”
However, he was interrupted by his wife’s teasing and he went on to add that “she ruined it.”
Earlier this year, Spencer revealed how alcohol threatened to end his relationship with Vogue.
The former Made In Chelsea star has been open about his struggles with alcohol, and how it could have ended his relationship with his now-wife.
Speaking on The DailyMail’s Everything I Know About Me podcast, the 35-year-old admitted: “There was a certainty that I would lose Vogue, if I carried on drinking the way I was drinking.”
The couple met on the reality show The Jump, and in the beginning of their romance they would frequently go out partying together.
Spencer admitted they initially had a “highly social, quite boozy relationship,” although he confessed he was the most dependent on booze around the time they met.
“I think anybody who was on The Jump will tell you that it was quite something.”
He explained: “Although I went sober when I made the finals for ten days before the finals, only went and won!”
“When I won I went on some like mental bender, lost everything. I was beginning to feel like I was a real mess, then. And that was a bit unusual for me.”
Spencer, speaking about Vogue, continued: “She won’t mind me saying she’s a bit of a binge drinker. She actually hates alcohol, she can’t stand being hungover.”
“She doesn’t like the taste of booze, but she’ll drink to get drunk. Back then she would drink to get drunk every few days. Now, it’s once a month type of thing.”
“On the days off, I would drink and she wouldn’t. And then she would get back on the horse. And then when she stopped, I carried on and it was every day, and she would draw attention to it,” he confessed.
When the mother-of-three fell pregnant with the couple’s first child, Theodore, Spencer said: “My drinking was emphasised by the fact that she wasn’t drinking.”
“There was a general level of disappointment in her about me. Which felt s**t, right, because I’ve always wanted people who are close to me to be proud of me.”
“I was beginning to feel like a real loser. She would do these great things and travel while she was pregnant, and land these TV jobs and present these documentaries. And I’d be at home.”
Spencer recalled the turning point when he told Vogue he was going to quit after one night in 2017.
At the time he drank nearly a full bottle of whiskey and got into bed with Vogue, telling her he was going to quit.
He confessed: “She didn’t really believe me, and neither did anybody else. I didn’t drink for three and a half years, just stopped.”
Spencer went on to launch his own low-alcohol brand The Clean Liquor Company in 2019, which has been hugely successful.
