Meghan Markle is currently enjoying life as a new mum while on maternity leave, but the Duchess is expected to make a return to the spotlight very soon.

On June 8, the British royal family will celebrate the Queen’s official birthday at Trooping the Colour.

Every year, members of the royal family join the monarch to watch an RAF fly past from the balcony of Buckingham Palace – and it’s believed Meghan will be there alongside her husband Prince Harry.

Meghan has been on maternity leave since April, and welcomed her first child, a son named Archie, with Prince Harry on May 6th.

We briefly saw her earlier this month when she introduced her son to the world, but she’s been hiding out at Frogmore Cottage in Windsor ever since.

Last year, Kate Middleton took a break from her maternity leave to attend Trooping the Colour, just weeks after she gave birth to Prince Louis on April 23rd.

And then back in 2015, the Duchess of Cambridge also stepped out for the event, just six weeks after giving birth to Princess Charlotte.

Trooping the Colour is the official commemoration of the Queen’s birthday, and the ceremony involves a military parade – which involves over 1,400 officers, 200 horses and over 400 musicians.

On episode 22 of the Gosscast, Goss.ie founder Ali Ryan chats to Crave Closet founder Laura McLoughlin about all things business.

The Gosscast is sponsored by leading Irish fashion outlet cravecloset.com, which is now also available in select Topshop stores.
