Joss Stone has announced the birth of her first child.
The singer and her boyfriend Cody DaLuz shared their pregnancy news back in October, and took to Facebook Live to announce the birth of their baby girl over the weekend.
The 33-year-old said: “I have a very special little bun that I’ve been making. Took about nine months. It’s cooked!”
“Here’s one we made earlier… she’s so sweet!” the new mum added, showing off her daughter.
Joss revealed the couple had named the newborn Violet Melissa.
“She’s was breach so I had to have a C-section which was delightful,” she said.
“We didn’t know she was a girl until that moment. I wanted a girl, but I didn’t want to tell anyone that – nothing against boys.”
“Cody has been amazing, totally worth it.”
