After Rio shared snaps of the engagement on Instagram his eldest son took to the comments to share a heartfelt message.
“So glad she said yes I am so proud of u (sic) dad and Kate both love u so much,” the 21-year-old wrote under the post.
Rio shared a screenshot of the comment and told fans that he was very emotional after reading it.
“My boy is trying to make his dad all emotional n s***,” the father-of-three said.
Rio and Kate have been dating for two years and got engaged while on a family holiday to Abu Dhabi.
