Piers Morgan hit out at Little Mix for their naked photoshoot and claimed that the singers were “airbrushed”.
The girlband hit headlines last week, as they posted a picture of themselves naked with negative words such as ‘Ugly’ and ‘Slutty’ written all over their bodies.
The foursome were slammed by the presenter, as he criticised the photo on The Good Morning Britain and claimed the band only released the image to promote their new album.
“If men stripped off like that we’d be arrested, but women do it and it’s ’empowering,’” the host said.
“They’re stripping off to sell albums, that’s what it’s about. The rest of it is baloney.”
The presenter then said that the girlband defeated the purpose of the photo, as he claimed the image was airbrushed: “They don’t have any flaws, they’ve been airbrushed to look perfect. They’re fake. There’s not a mark on them. You can’t even see the surgery.”
“Do you find Little Mix empowering when they strip off and put offensive words all over their naked bodies? Or like me do you find it a cynical assaults on the records market,” he asked viewers.

Piers’ comments come after the girlband spoke out about their clothing, which is regularly branded as being “too sexy”, and stated that their outfits act as a feminist statement.
