Piers Morgan demands a public apology from Little Mix

The band slated Piers in a radio interview and now he wants an apology

Piers Morgan has demanded that girl band Little Mix apologise for what they said about him in an interview.

Last week, Piers accused the girl band of using ‘sex to sell’ by posing nude.

Little Mix were asked if they were shocked by his comments on Nick Grimshaw’s BBC radio show, and band mate Jesy Nelson replied “Of course not, he’s a silly t***.”

Nick very quickly said: “Er, language Jesy. You can’t swear, Jesy. Apologies for offensive language on BBC.”

Piers played out the clip of what Little Mix said about him on Good Morning Britain.

He said: “Oh Jesy you let yourself down, love. When you’re doing a campaign against doing rude words, it’s probably better not to use rude words on the radio about me.”

After playing the clip, Piers apologised for the language used and demanded a ‘public apology’ from the girls themselves.

“I apologise to anyone who is offended by the language Little Mix used about me.”

“Little Mix, I think you need to make a public apology during your campaign to root out bad language from public discourse.”
