One Direction fans have been sent into a frenzy over “reunion tickets” which reportedly appeared on Australia’s Ticketmaster website.

Fans spotted a listing for a One Direction: On The Road Again concert on Australia’s Ticketmaster site, which was scheduled for December 31, 2020 at the Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.

The gig also appeared to be listed under Spotify’s upcoming events for the band, but it was removed just minutes later.

When fans attempted to buy tickets, they were met with an error page.

Naturally, the listing drove 1D fans wild as today mark’s eight years since the band was formed on The X Factor.

One fan wrote, “I went onto ticketmaster (through a link for some reason it’s not on when you go on the website) and went onto the ‘Eithad Stadium’ if you scroll down to dec 31 it says there is a one direction tour: on the road again 2020??? Is this like someone joking or….” [sic]

According to reports, Etihad Stadium have denied that the event is on their upcoming schedule.

Meanwhile, a representative for the band said, “There are no gigs planned for One Direction currently.”
