Roxanne Pallett speaks out after getting injured in horror crash

The actress has been trolled over her injuries since the accident

Roxanne Pallett has spoken out for the first time since she was involved in a horror car crash last week.

Speaking on GMB, the former actress recalled, “I had this numbed, blocked up feeling in my head, like there was water in my head, like my brain had rattled. I couldn’t really hear much, I couldn’t feel much either.”

Roxanne continued, “My co-host Ben was relaying messages from my boyfriend Lee to try and keep me awake because I just wanted to go to sleep. ”

The radio presenter also added, “The minute I woke up I knew it wasn’t good. I think that’s why they airlifted me because I couldn’t feel my legs and my neck and my head. I’ve never felt pain like it.”

Roxanne was airlifted to a nearby hospital after firefighters were forced to cut her from the wreckage of a Formula 2 stock car.

The car she was driving hit a wall at 40mph.

According to the Daily Mail, Roxanne escaped the crash with two badly sprained wrists, some bruising, and a concussion.

In a shocking confession, the TV star has revealed that she’s been trolled for not having more severe injuries.

Roxanne said, “They were almost disappointed that I’d been airlifted and only come out of it with some internal bruising and sprained wrist.”

The radio DJ added, “I’ve got to also point out that sometimes injuries can be invisible. My head doesn’t feel right, I can barely stretch my ribs and back are so sore.”

She continued, “There’s people everyday walking around with injuries and disabilities that are invisible to the eye and people need to remember that.”

Taking to Instagram, the 36-year-thanked her fans for their support since the accident happened.

Thank you x
