Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles reportedly grew close while working together on upcoming film ‘Don’t Worry, Darling’.
The Hollywood actress and the chart-topping singer were spotted holding hands at a wedding in California over the weekend, sparking romance rumours.Â
An insider has since told Entertainment Tonight: “Olivia and Harry are together for long days on set and have gotten to know each other really well, so it’s all very organic.”
The source added that Olivia, 36, “wouldn’t let a romantic relationship get in the way of a professional one, so anything they’re doing is being done thoughtfully.”
Although news of Olivia’s split from the father of her two children and fiancé Jason Sudeikis only broke in November, the insider claimed the former couple actually “split almost a year ago”.
“So it’s not like she’s rushing into something,” they explained.
“Olivia and Jason talk all the time and are still close because of the kids. It’s highly unlikely he was blind-sided by this news.”
A second source told the publication: “Olivia and Harry got close through working together on ‘Don’t Worry Darling’. Since her split from Jason, she has been more open to seeing new people.
“She’s always liked Harry and it was one of the reasons she cast him and, since then, she’s developed a thing for him.
Back in November, Olivia publicly defended the former One Direction star, after he was criticised for wearing a dress on the cover of Vogue Magazine.

The plot is said to centre on a housewife who uncovers a disturbing truth about her seemingly perfect life.
Harry stars alongside Florence Pugh in the psychological horror, with Olivia directing the flick.
