Molly-Mae Hague has revealed she had a large birthmark removed from her forehead, due to fears she would be bullied in secondary school.
In her latest YouTube video, the 21-year-old shared old photos of the “super large” lump on her forehead.
While applying her makeup, the Love Island star told fans: “I was born with a very, very large strawberry birthmark.”
Placing her beauty blender on her forehead, she said: “Essentially, it looked like this…”
“It was bright red, it was super large, it stuck out of my head quite far. I’ll insert pictures of it. It’s quite shocking, I don’t think you guys will actually believe it when you see it. It was huge.”
Speaking about her decision to get it removed, Molly explained: “At 12 or 13 I decided to get it removed just before I went to secondary school.”
“My parents, they didn’t know if I was gonna get bullied for it, but luckily I never was.”
The reality star added: “Birthmarks are cool, like own them, rock them. The only reason I got mine removed was because it was in such a prominent area, right on my head.”
