Love Island star Gemma Owen has broke her silence on her six-figure PrettyLittleThing deal.

According to reports, the 19-year-old is set to become the richest EVER Love Island contestant after landing the deal with the popular online retailer.

Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, Gemma wrote: “I am beyond excited to announce that I am now a @prettylittlething Brand Ambassador.”

The 2022 Love Island finalist continued: “I honestly feel truly flattered to have been approached by @umarkamani It means a great deal to me that he trusts me to be a positive role model to PLT customers and an ambassador to his hugely successful brand.”

“PLT is a brand that I have followed the success of for many years. I’m a PLT customer, it’s been my ‘go-to’ brand in many instances.”

“It feels like a dream to be able to help design and create my own collections with PLT and I can’t wait to get started working with the talented team at the PLT HQ that have already made me feel so welcome.”

Molly-Mae Hague, who shot to fame on the 2019 series of Love Island, commented on the post: “Amazing🤍 So excited for you.”

The 23-year-old also landed a six-figure deal with PLT after her stint on the dating show and in August 2021, she announced her role as Creative Director of the company.

Molly-Mae is currently the highest earning Love Island contestant of all time, with Gemma hoping to follow in her footsteps.

She already has her own swimwear line, OG Beachwear, which she wore over the course of her love-filled summer in Majorca.
