Laura Anderson makes heartbreaking confession about life as a single mum after split from Gary Lucy

Laura Anderson had made a heartbreaking confession about life as a single mum, following her split from Gary Lucy.

The former Love Island star shares her six-month-old daughter Bonnie with her ex Gary, who she met while filming Celebs Go Dating in July 2022.

While the pair have sparked reunion rumours in recent months, the 34-year-old has confirmed she’s “single”.

Speaking to the Mirror about navigating life as a single mum, Laura confessed: “I think it was hard to get my head around initially, it wasn’t what I expected. But that’s the cards I was dealt in the end.

“Of course, I’m going to make it work for my child, even more so. I feel like I’m a really good mum, to be honest.”

Referencing her baby girl Bonnie, Laura continued: “She’s great, your social life does a take a little bit of a backseat but most people, your good friends understand that.”

“Prioritise what you need to do, it’s just me. I have to make it work. I am tired but of course, I’m going to be tired. I’m bringing up a human soul, that’s what I signed up for.

“Think how many mums out there are struggling with that work-life balance, it’s not just me.

“It’s so relatable and that’s the best thing about Love Island, having a social media following, I’ve really understood it more since having a baby. It’s so nice to resonate and it really is a positive place,” she added.

Laura struck up a romance with Gary when they met while filming E4 reality show Celebs Go Dating in 2022.

The couple announced they were expecting a baby in February 2023, but split soon after.

After welcoming their baby girl in September, the pair sparked speculation they were giving their relationship another shot – but it appears they’ve called it quits for good.
