Joshua Ritchie has insisted that he “never cheated” on Charlotte Crosby.
The couple split last month after two years together – and just weeks later he signed up to appear on Celebs Go Dating, leaving Charlotte furious.
In a foul-mouthed rant on Instagram earlier this week, the former Geordie Shore star slammed her ex for being so disrespectful, and hinted that he was messaging other girls behind her back.
However, a source close to Josh has since told The Sun Online: “Josh never cheated on Charlotte. Not even once.”
“Like loads of celebs, girls would take pictures with him when he’s out and about and Charlotte used to go mental at him.
“What’s wrong with taking pictures with fans? Josh is single now, he doesn’t need to lie about anything.”
During her furious rant on Instagram, Charlotte had said: “If we want to go into this whole two sides of a f***in’ story, I’ve got messages, I’ve got everything, I’ve got girls messaging us.”
“I’ve got so much evidence that I stuck by that boy through all of this s**t.”
“I kept all of that very secretive for a reason, because I cared about that boy, and I still wanted to be with him,” she added.
Charlotte and Josh split last month, not long after they had moved in together in Bolton.
