James Bay has announced the birth of his first child in a sweet post.
The singer-songwriter welcomed a baby girl with his girlfriend of 14 years, Lucy Smith, last week.
The 31-year-old shared the exciting news on Instagram, alongside a photo of them holding their newborn daughter’s hand.

James also posted a photo of him cradling their baby girl, who they have named Ada Violet.
He captioned the post: “Family ♥️ After all these years together as two, we’re so excited to be three!”
“Last week Lu gave birth to our first baby, Ada Violet Bay. We are so in love and filled with gratitude and joy for this little miracle in our lives.”
“Thank you for all your well wishes xx,” he added.
