Jake Quickenden defends sharing photos from Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt’s wedding online

Jake Quickenden has defended sharing photos from Camilla Thurlow and Jamie Jewitt’s wedding on social media before they did.

The 32-year-old was inundated with negative comments this week, after he posted pictures of the former Love Island stars on their wedding day.

The couple tied the knot on Thursday, four years after they met on the ITV2 dating show.

Jake was the first person to post photos from their wedding on Instagram, which sparked criticism online.

However, the reality star has since explained that Camilla and Jamie gave him permission to post on social media.

Responding to the backlash on his Instagram Story, Jake said: “Why do people just find any reason to be negative or to moan or to have an opinion when they don’t know what’s gone on?”

“They don’t know that it said on the table to share photos and use a hashtag. They don’t know that permission was asked.”

“Please, please, if you see something and you don’t know the full story, don’t comment, because it’s utterly boring,” he added.

Jake also shared a snap of a sign at the couple’s wedding reception, which asked guests to posted photos from the bash on social media using the hashtag #JustJewitt.
