Jade Thirlwall has admitted she initially thought her bandmates, Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, were joking when they revealed their pregnancies.
The Little Mix stars are both expecting their first children, and recently announced their pregnancies on social media.
During an interview with TikTok, Jade opened up about the emotional moment her bandmates shared their baby news with her.
“They called us together on the phone,” she explained. “I had a little cry. It was amazing and I am so happy for them both.”
“I thought it was a joke at first, I was like ‘Come on …’ It was a lot to take in.”
Leigh-Anne, who is expecting with her fiancé Andre Gray, then asked: “So you didn’t expect it? A little bit?”
Jade replied: “I knew you both wanted to have babies, I suppose it did make sense. Once you’d said it and it started to make sense, it dawned on us.”
