Indiyah Polack has confronted Deji Adeniyi over his claims that they kissed in unaired Love Island scenes.
The waitress brought the Casa Amor bombshell back to the main villa, however, she reunited with her now-boyfriend Dami Hope and Deji was eventually dumped from the island.
The 25-year-old has since claimed that he and Indiyah kissed “a few times” on the show, but that the scenes were never aired.
However, Indiyah has slammed Deji’s claims, and added that the pair only shared one “insignificant” kiss, when she thanked him for making her a cup of tea.
Speaking on BBC’s Pressed Podcast on Friday, the 23-year-old revealed: “”Do you know what, I had a chat with him the other day just to sort of touch base.”
“Because obviously I’ve come out of the villa and I’m seeing [his claims].”
Indiyah continued: “It’s the way he’s been saying it on certain chats that, making out we’ve been lipsing off. I’m just sort of like, well, the only kiss I remember is in bed when we came back, and in Casa Amor.”
“So I spoke to him on the phone about it. And he was like, ‘yeah but you know there was a time where I made you peppermint tea and like I gave it to you and you said thank you.'”
“I was like, ‘oh I gave you a, oh thanks, for the tea.’ And I was like, ‘respectively, I don’t really count that as anything.’ It was so insignificant.”
“It’s like he was holding onto every single little thing. With every single little thing it was only the peppermint tea kiss and probably that was it.”
“So you brought me a cup of tea and I gave you a thank you kiss.”
“But we obviously hashed it out, it was calm. But it’s like when things are going around, it’s like also, who do you even gain from that?,” Indiyah added.
“Because we’re not even together. I’m in a relationship now, I’m with Dami.”
