Frankie Bridge has shared a heartbreaking post about her “anxious” son returning to school.

The Saturdays star posted an emotional photo of her cuddling her six-year-old son Parker, who was in tears this morning before he returned to school.

Frankie captioned the post: “Not all back to school pictures are happy ones ????.”

“Parker is definitely my sensitive and anxious child and it all got a bit much for him this morning ❤️.”

“There were lots of tears from him… which inevitably meant lots of tears from me ???? he was absolutely fine by the time we dropped him off though ????.”

“So hopefully he’ll have a good day ???? my big boy might be going into year 2 … but he’s still my baby boy ????,” she added.

Speaking on her Instagram Story, Frankie reassured fans Parker was fine once he joined his classmates, but that didn’t stop her from “crying all the way home”.

“I know it’s going to be fine, I just think it’s that separation anxiety that I’ve talked about before,” she explained.

Frankie also shares five-year-old son Carter with her husband Wayne Bridge, and said their youngest son was hesitant to go back to school too.

Frankie continued: “I’m hoping they’ll come out a lot happier, obviously I’m going to worry about them all day and they’ll be probably having the best day ever!”

“But, it’s just one of those things… obviously they have to go to school, but I just find it really hard, and you always wonder whether you’re making the right decisions and things like that, so yeah just the constant parent worry!”
